Naqsmist Storytellers Inc. (nux-meest)
A learning and leadership ecosystem for people ready to listen, live, lead and think different.
“We’re not afraid of change. We’re afraid of staying the same when the world is calling us to evolve.”
[Our website is undergoing a total refresh. We appreciate your patience. In the meantime, please check out our offerings below.]
Who We Are
Naqsmist transforms disconnected people, teams, and systems into relational, emotionally safe, and culturally grounded leaders.
Rooted in decades of Indigenous governance, leadership, and community planning, we created a living ecosystem that helps people move from fear to trust, urgency to responsibility, and isolation to collective wellness.
The Naqsmist Network
Naqsmist (derived from nsyilxcen) means “many coming together as one.”
This is:
- A learning space through practical eCourses
- An integration space in our private online community
- A reflection space with live meetups + prompts
- A leadership space through our CSS Facilitator Certification

Our Signature Framework:Â Cultivating Safe Spaces (CSS)
Cultivating Safe Spaces (CSS) is a global relational leadership framework grounded in Indigenous knowledge, emotional safety, and courageous systems change.
It helps people lead with connection — not control — even in complexity and conflict.
For Organizations
Burnout and turnover aren’t failures. They’re feedback. We help teams build internal infrastructure for trust, emotional regulation, and relational leadership. When you do this work:Â
✔️ Trust goes up
✔️ Turnover goes down
✔️ Teams respond, not react
✔️ People feel safe, seen, and connected
Courses for Teams:
- Intro to CSS (scalable across departments)
- Enhanced CSS Add-On (deeper integration)
- CSS for Executive Leadership (self-paced for decision-makers)
Â

Intro to CSS eCourse
Learn to cultivate trauma-informed, inclusive, and resilient spaces through practical tools, reflective lessons, and real-life scenarios—at work or in your community.

Enhanced CSS Add-On
Deepen your CSS practice with tools to apply its principles in your personal life or team settings—supporting safety, connection, and belonging wherever you lead or work.

CSS for Executive Leadership
Designed for leaders and decision-makers, this course helps you apply CSS principles to transform leadership, culture, and systems from the inside out.
